How Much is My Silver Flatware Worth at Greenbrier Pawn?

So, just how much is your silver flatware worth? We look at a few different things. For one thing, we look at whether your silver flatware is resellable in its current condition or if it's only good for its melt value. It's valuable either way, but we can often pay more for, say, full sets of high-end silver flatware that are in good condition as opposed to individual pieces of damaged silver flatware that are really only good for melting down and making other silver items.

When looking at full sets, we may look at things like brand and pattern. If we're looking at individual pieces or damaged pieces that are being sold for melt value, we'll look specifically at silver content (it should be 92.5% silver, which is why sterling silver is commonly marked with a "925," whether you're talking about jewelry or silverware) and its weight. Bulkier, heavier pieces with higher silver content will pay you the most.
